My (Not So) Perfect First Time, a New Premium Comic by Tom Reynolds
My (Not So) Perfect First Time is our first Premium comic by Tom Reynolds. It’s a sweet, sexy slice-of-life story with a slightly sci-fi elment. It’s the kind of transformation that I think a lot of members of this website will enjoy (and probably like to undergo themselves).
The comic is 71 multi-paneled pages in total, on a traditional portrait comic book page, and we’re publishing it in slightly serial form. We’ll put up the first 31 pages (plus a cover) of My (Not So) Perfect First Time today, Saturday, January 16th, and we’ll post the remaining 40 pages tomorrow, on Sunday, January 17th. To be clear, you’ll have to wait until tomorrow to read the complete comic, but why not buy it now so you can start enjoying this sweet, sexy comic and see the gender transformation right away?
Please note that My (Not So) Perfect First Time is being sold for the set price of $7.95. We won’t be offering a free option or PWYW on this one. There are a couple of reasons for this. Tom Reynolds has a Patreon going (which you should support if you can), and we’re going to be publishing ALL the comics from his Patreon for free here on TGC (many months after they’re initially posted there). But Tom is also interested and eager to also make comics that are exclusive and original to TGComics.com, and we’ll be asking you to pay for those. We’ll be posting a free comic from Tom every month in 2021 (and hopefully a lot longer than that), so you could consider this purchase a down payment on the great comics you’ll be getting access to for free later this year! In other words, show Tom (and TGC) your support by buying this comic!
Jackson and Henry have been best friends since grade school. Growing up, Henry felt like he was always wearing a stranger’s face. He’s lived on the hope that life will get better if he becomes a woman, and that day is finally here. Henry now has possession of the state-of-the-art pills that will utterly transform his body… or at least they should. Some bodies don’t react to the pills. Others react badly.
If all goes well, Henry will finally get to become Hayley, the woman he’s dreamed of being. But will that be enough? Henry has thought that becoming a woman would solve his problems and make him happy, but what if he’s a girl and still feels utterly empty inside? He’s terrified by that idea.
Henry is terrified that he’ll be disappointed, and unsure of what life will be like after he accomplishes his biggest, most fervent dream.
Jackson has listened to Henry’s talk for years about not being able to start his life until his body matches the way it looks in his mind. He’s seen the way Henry has wasted years smoking weed and watching TV until he could get his hands on the pills. He wants to help his friend, convince him that he needs to move forward and finally find out what life will be like as a female… for better or for worse.
In other words, it’s time to man up and become a woman!
The action takes place over the course of a single evening. As you can tell from my description, this is a personal story about two friends dealing with a momentous change. Henry will get over his doubts and swallow the pills. He’ll go through an amazing transformation and obtain the body of his dreams. And then…
Well, there are a lot of things Hayley has in mind, things she wants to do now now that her mind and body are in sync. And Jackson has some ideas as well. Certain ideas they’ve kicked around over the years.
My (Not So) Perfect First Time is ultimately a great slice-of-life comic of two friends establishing new boundaries as they deal with the altered dynamic between them. Henry/Hayley and Jackson are memorable characters. Tom Reynolds has written some great dialogue that makes them come to life, and Tom has also rendered some terrific panels. I really do find Tom’s renders really beautiful, and I think he creates some of the most exquisite women this site has to offer in the pages of his comics.
Hayley will wear a dress, dance a little, smoke some weed and… well, the title of this comic is My (Not So) Perfect First Time after all.
The comic has a TGC-M rating. There are definitely some sexually explicit images. Things get a bit raunchy. But this comic is ultimately about the relationship of the two characters. In fact, they’re the only characters who appear within the 71 pages. The comic is sweet, and a bit sentimental. And there’s some gentle humor, too. My (Not So) Perfect First Time is pretty funny at times.
As I mentioned above, we’re not offering PWYW for this comic, but there are still four different ways to buy the comic That can be a little confusing, so if you need more info about any aspect of purchasing My (Not So) Perfect First Time on TGC, you can find out the details on the My (Not So) Perfect First Time Preview Page.
If you need to know more details about the comic itself, you should also peek at that My (Not So) Perfect First Time Preview Page. The initial page pretty much covers what I’m saying in this post, but there is a second preview page if you want to learn a few more details about My (Not So) Perfect First Time Another good option is to read the 9 sample pages (plus a cover) of My (Not So) Perfect First Time that we’re posting for free, so you can get a great feel for the storytelling, renders and characters. You can also see the categories we’ve listed for this comic on that page (if that’s something that’s important to you).
Thanks for considering buying My (Not So) Perfect First Time and supporting TGComics.com. The comic contains characters you’ll enjoy hanging out with, it features an awesome transformation, and seeing Hayley go through her (not so) perfect first time is both memorable and a storyline that will nicely serve as wish fulfillment for many readers. I think we’d all like to go through a (not so) perfect night like the one Henry/Hayley experiences!
Add it all up and this is a comic worth plunking down a few dollars for. I hope we get a lot of support for this comic so Tom Reynolds will make us many more high quality efforts like this one. Well, actually, I’m sure they’ll all be quite different because Tom enjoys telling a wide variety of stories (and does them very well!).
That’s it. Thanks for listening!
